Real Madrid tickets

Tickets are sold match by match on realmadrid.com in phases: club members (socios) first, then Madridista fan-club cardholders, then the general public. Big games like El Clásico rarely reach the public.

DifficultyHard
Membership neededFor big games
Madridista Platinum or Premium (fan club, open worldwide)
Membership costPlatinum €149.90 per year or €12.90 per month
Premium is a cheaper tier

Membership

You can't easily become a full club member (socio), but anyone can join the Madridista fan programme. Platinum, Premium and Junior cardholders get a few days' priority before the general public.

When tickets go on sale

  1. Members (socios)
    Club members without season tickets
First, usually with a discount. Dates are posted on each match's ticket page.
  2. Madridistas
Madridista Platinum, Premium and Junior cardholders
A few days before the general public
  3. General public
    Anyone
After the priority phases, if tickets remain

Step by step

  1. Find your match in the Tickets section of realmadrid.com. Each match page shows the sale dates and prices for each group.
  2. For high-demand games, join Madridista Platinum or Premium to get the earlier window.
  3. Buy only on realmadrid.com. The club says it won't help with tickets bought elsewhere.
  4. Kick-off dates and times in La Liga are often confirmed only a few weeks ahead, so keep travel plans flexible.

If it's sold out

Real Madrid has no public resale exchange for general tickets. If a match is sold out, watch the match page in case more tickets are released.

Tickets bought with a member or Madridista discount are personal and non-transferable. You may be asked for ID and your card at the gate.
